Absence

I saw a vision of fairies in limbo, winged beings only flightless…
I saw the sun set and rise all at once accross the valley of despair…

I heard you say I was all you ever wanted; sadly not all you’ve needed…

I heard black is no other colour but a sadder and darker shade of white…

I heard white Swans  are beautiful, only someday ugly ducklings may become ideal story phonies…

I heard of peace and war, just as queerly from the same fountain, a cascade of warm and cold flow…

I heard even more, that life  happens to good and bad people too…

Now i have also heard of black-skin betrayals, masters and slaves of a colour…

I heard and saw that streams of a river quenched the thirst of maids and mistresses, eunuchs and princes

I saw a vision of  clay and iron in an art; a piece for peace but perhaps a muse for kings and queens

In all of these,  I find the essence of your presence, i see the curse in your absence but the sweetest bliss of your grace abound.
