Blindfolds…
It’s a long journey on a narrow path

rocky and bumpy speaks for itself on this route to destiny and purpose…

I grope and poke, stretching and Seeking

A road littered with pain and struggles

Take away the scarf, unwrap my eyes and wash my face
I long to see, clearly not vaguely

To know and hear, loudly not faintly

I pray to walk, boldly not merely

On this road, so windy and rainy
Slippery and scary

That in season and off season I navigate the tides

Safely ashore, safely aboard to places Where mortality beg to end!
